Judicial Assignments:
January 2017 – March 2018, presided in the Probate Division handling settlements of the estates of decedents, guardianships of incapacitated adults, guardianships of minors and other jurisdiction relating to courts of probate.
2010 – 2016 and 2004 – 2005, presided 9 years in the Circuit Civil Division handling several complex cases involving construction matters, legal and medical malpractice claims, eminent domain cases, foreclosure actions, personal injury claims and commercial or business matters.
2006 – 2009, presided 4 years in the Family Division handling hundreds of dissolution of marriage cases, child support, parenting, and time-sharing matters, petitions for relocation, paternity actions, and post-judgment actions, etc.
Administrative Judge, Circuit Court Appellate Division (2006 – 2009), supervising appeals from the County Court and final administrative orders of local government code enforcement boards and other issues.
1997 – 2003, presided 8 years in the Criminal Division handling capital murder cases, felony cases, and criminal post-judgment relief petitions, etc.; and 18 months in the Juvenile Division (1995 – 1996), handling dependency and delinquency (all felonies and misdemeanors) cases.
